Weather Closure Policy

 In case of snow, The Growing Place operates independently. Decisions are made by The Growing Place, not Madison County Schools’ closing system. We will communicate closures on Facebook, Brightwheel and news Channels 18, 27, or 36. We will make every effort to accommodate our parents and their need to work while ensuring the safety of the children and our staff.  We will choose to either close for the day or operate on a delay (opening at 9am).  Decisions will be made by 6:30-6:45am or earlier.  If we make the decision to close earlier than our normal closing time, we will call each family, send a message via the Brightwheel app, and try to give a 2 hour window to pick up.
